A co-creation plugin for handmade jewelry customization.
Background
While running my online and offline handmade jewelry business, I discovered a growing demand for customizing handmade jewelry. However, the customization process often creates frustration for both customers and artisans due to communication barriers, unclear expectations, and difficulties in visualizing design ideas.
User Research
To better understand the demand and pain points surrounding handmade customization, I collected survey responses from 50 customers at local art market events and interviewed 3 randomly selected participants.

90% of customer said “Yes” to customizing handmade jewelry, and 85% of them chose to design through an interactive interface.
